Two dogs in the street

Spring is coming to its end.
Anyone else going through big changes in their lives? Ending studies? Searching for work? Searching for a place to live? So many people around me are going through big changes in their lives (me as well). It's a bit scary. And from time to time it feels really scary.
I just hope that a year from now, we'll all look back on this time and say Oh it was all so silly when we were so worried. Hopefully we won't be saying I'm sick of living under a bridge, and oh yeah I just lost a tooth

  1. Life is full of these big changes. Last year it was losing my job. It's been a great change for me as I have been able to finish school. But THIS year, holy cow. I am moving to England from Los Angeles on August 8. Already bought the one-way ticket! Haven't packed a thing, need to sell my car, the list goes ooooon. I know at the end of the day it will be something I will be proud of. Sometimes you just know things will work out. I can feel it in my gut. I am going to be incredibly sad to leave my family though. Have no idea how that will work itself out. So yeaaah, I feel ya. Big changes!

    2. My fiance lives there :-o 3.5 years of long-distance relationship! He *was* going to move to L.A. but the economy is a disaster so on to plan b. I love to travel, so the logical thing was for me to go there. I'm scared to death of course. Haha. Goodbye sunny days!

  7. You obviously already know that almost all fear is irrational. I've picked up and started over so many times that I've learned that there's very little to be afraid of with a bit of vision and your range of talents. Enjoy your beautiful future.

  8. Same here, so pretty much knowing what you're talking about...I'm planning to move from Germany to Holland in August to study Art&Crossmedia Design over there and have NO idea how to pay for housing, food and stuff. But here's hoping it'll all work out for all of us! :) Love the photos by the way - especially the combination of high ISO and black and white!

  9. You are doing very well, Uli, it is a HUGE change from being a student to finding the next step/job. Yes, I am transitioning jobs - going back to a place where I worked for ten years, after a two-year absence. They created a new job for me and yet it's all new people there and high expectations. Will be an adventure. Our son, who lives in Vienna, and his wife are going to be having a baby in October, his first! I'm doing two triathlons this year - my first! Working on my training but it's all new and I want to be ready. We're with you as you go thru these new stages; believe in yourself, never sell yourself short, do your very best and stick with your passion. You will be fine! xo

  12. Huge changes are refreshing though. I know I am excited for mine! I am graduating and moving across the country [over two thousand miles from home] to be completely apart from all of my friends and family. Good luck with all your changes, Uli!
